Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Silver Peaks Enterprises ("we"), which runs HardHat Path at hardhatpath.com. By using the site or signing in, you agree to them.

1. What we provide

Information about US electrical apprenticeship programs (application windows, scoring, steps and applicant-reported results), practice tests, interview practice, a personal tracker and email alerts. Some features are free; others need a paid pass.

2. Information is a guide, not a guarantee

Programs change their dates and rules, sometimes without notice. We show our sources and when we last checked them, but we can't guarantee that any information is complete or current. Always confirm with the program before you apply. Practice scores and AI feedback are estimates and don't predict your real score. We don't guarantee acceptance into any program.

We are independent and not affiliated with the IBEW, NECA, the electrical training ALLIANCE, IEC, ABC, or any local or training center.

3. Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 16. One person per account; don't share it.

4. Passes and payment

  • Passes are one-time payments in US dollars and last 12 months from payment. Nothing renews automatically.
  • Upgrading charges the difference between your current pass and the new one, and the new pass runs 12 months from the upgrade.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number. Your bank may treat the charge as an international purchase.
  • Prices may change for future purchases; a change never affects a pass you already bought.

5. Refunds

See the refund and cancellation policy. If something isn't working, email us before disputing a charge with your bank; we usually fix it the same day.

6. Fair use

Don't copy or resell our questions or data, scrape the site, share a paid account, try to get around the paywall, or submit false results. We may limit heavy automated use (for example, more than 100 AI-scored answers a day) and may close accounts that break these rules, with a refund of any unused pass time if we close an account that hasn't broken them.

7. What you submit

When you report an interview score or rank, you let us use it in anonymous totals. We never publish your email. Interview answers you submit for feedback are sent to our AI provider to score and aren't published.

8. Our content

Practice questions are original and written by us in the format of the real test. They are not real test questions. The site, questions and data belong to us; you may use them for your own preparation.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a missed application window, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be waived.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for important changes, email account holders. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before any formal dispute, contact us and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. Courts in Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction, unless the law of your home state gives you the right to bring a claim there.
